Pizza at Sean’s place

Thursday, September 28th, 2006

I went to my cousin, Sean’s house today as he promised to bake muffins for me long time ago and so he asked me, my sister and my brother to come over his house for dinner. He actually made pizzas for us! Which is really nice and sweet of him because for me it is never easy to make pizza especially all by yourself. He made 3 pizzas altogether, 1 was pepperoni I guess, the other 1 was curry (he invented it) and the last 1 was beef. To be honest, it was really, really tasty and it was only his second time making pizzas. Just that his new invention needs some improvement but his beef was the best (I prefer his rather than Pizza Hut’s). He bought us soft drinks and he served us. He’s should open a restaurant instead. After dinner, my so-called sick cousin, Ian (food poisoning and didn’t go school for a week already) asked us to play Winning Eleven with him. He the so-called expert of the game actually lost to me and my bro when we first played the game. Of course, he forced us to play another game and he won. After tired of playing with him, we played a game called Yes or No and we ate Sean’s home made chocolate muffins (yummy…). You’re not supposed to answer any of the questions from the card (which consist of 10 questions each) with yes or no or giving the same answer again or taking too long to answer. The opponent/s who couldn’t answer all 10 questions will have to let the team who asked them to keep the card. In the end, team which has the most cards win. It seems easy but it is not easy to think fast and smart at all in 5 seconds. Questions asked were like:

> What is your name?

> Did you just say your name?

> Isn’t it a silly name?

> Can you say yes or no?

> Do you think it is better to have shopping on Sunday?

> Did you say yes?

> Tell me how you say the word “on” backwards?

> Did you like your birthday cake?

> Do you wish whenever you blow the candles?

> Do you hate this game?

I struggled even the 1st question was asked. Do you bake often? I said I’ve no idea. Stupid Sean was in my team and he was the one shouting: “Evon, no! You’ve just said NO idea!” “Shut up Sean!” well, kind of pissed me off and I thought no idea will be a brilliant answer as everyone was giving answers like… “I’m not sure…I don’t think so…I do not…” Everyone did well except my sister (worst) and Ian (lousy). “Who is your favorite actor?” “Errrr….Jensen!” Jensen…hmmm…Jensen is actually my brother’s name and everything she seems to put my brother’s name into her answers as if there’s no other name in this world other than Jensen. Evon sounds nicer by the way. We laughed and laughed and when she gets panicked, she gets fed up and said yes or no. She donated 4 cards to my team altogether. Obviously, I got better and better each time I played. I actually got all correct for the second card. In the end, my team won thanks to me and Sean’s brilliant-ness…
